A small practice, on purpose.
Ridley & Shah Accountants started in 2012 with one desk above the bookshop on Cornmarket. We’ve stayed small so that every client is known by name.
Hannah spent nine years at a larger firm and got tired of clients being passed around. Amrit joined in 2015, bringing his tax and property work with him. Today there are four of us, and most of our clients found us through someone they know.

How we work

Plain English
No jargon in emails, no surprise terms in letters. If we have to use a technical word, we’ll explain it.

We aim to file every return at least a month before the deadline, so there’s room for the unexpected.
